5-Week Intro to Core Competencies & Ethical Practice

The goal of our 5-week training program is to give coaching professionals an introduction to Ethical Standards, Values, and Core Coaching Competencies. This course offers a total of 20-hrs of in-depth coach specific-training and mentoring. Classes meet once a week via Zoom, for 2-hours each session, over 5 weeks (10-hrs).  Participants must also complete assignments, supplemental readings, and assess their knowledge on our training portal (10-hrs). Participants who successfully complete the course earn a certification of completion and 20 CCEs. This course is for continued education. It is a great learning opportunity for anyone seeking to develop their coaching skills and maintain an ethical practice.

In this course, you will learn why coaches take the “industry” pledge and commit to abiding by the Ethical Standards. In addition, this course covers the key competencies coaches must strive to develop and maintain. Participants will review key literature and learn how to develop their own ethical standards for their coaching practice.

Participants are asked to be ready to experiment and come with an open mind. Attendees should bring a coaching goal or objective to each class session. Attendees will have the opportunity to serve as a coachee and present a coaching agenda for the group to coach on together to develop coaching competencies. Each participant will be observed and provided written feedback by an a credentialed coach.

If you do not see a date that works for your schedule, please contact our office. We will add dates if we can get 4+ participants to register for the course. This course meets  continued coaching education towards re-credentialing.
