Our Purpose
The purpose of this course is to introduce coaching professionals to CSC and obtain a deeper understanding on how cultural experiences and social identity impacts accountability, productivity, and goal attainment. The mission of this course is to improve your awareness around the role of cultural sensitivity in coaching and aligning the appropriate coaching competencies to effectively apply CSC.
Participants are asked to experiment with new concepts or to have an open mind about old beliefs. We also encourage participants to bring their own examples or personal experiences if they have them. This course offers the opportunity to practice and develop coaching skills around diversity and inclusion, cultural sensitivity, and social identity.
Receive a certificate of completion when you successfully complete the training and earn 12 CCEs.
Course Objectives
By the end of this course you should be able to:

Improve your awareness around the importance of culturally sensitive coaching methods.

Develop the appropriate coaching competencies to effectively use CSC.

Describe culture and social identity in the context of coaching.

Focus on current industry ethical standards and core competency requirements specific to cultural and social identity sensitivity.

Understand the CSC approach to build cultural intelligence.
Graduation Requirements
In order to graduate the program to receive your certificate of completion and 12 CCEs, you will need to meet the following requirements:

Complete 80% of the coursework assignments

Participate in 80% of the live discussions

Pass all quizzes with a minimum of 75% or 5 or more points

Pass the Final Assessment with 80% or 5 or more points

Complete 1-hour coach mentoring/supervision in a group or 1:1
