Associate Coach Training Program

This course prepares you to become a certified Reid Ready Associate Coach (RRAC).

Our Purpose 

This course is designed to give you evidence-based training, help you develop key competencies, and the opportunity to build a portfolio demonstrating your abilities and knowledge. There is a lot of material to cover, and your Coach Facilitator is here to guide you through it! 

Course Requirements

In order to graduate the program to receive your RRAC designation, and receive your certificate of completion, and be able to use the Reid Ready® Life Coaching logo on your site and marketing material, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Complete 80% of the coursework assignments

  • Submit a Coaching Hours Tracker with a minimum of 30 Coaching Hours (5 paid/25 pro bono) 

  • Participate in 80% of the live discussions

  • Pass all quizzes with a minimum of 75% or 5 or more points

  • Pass the Final Assessment with 80% or 5 or more points

  • Submit 2 recorded coaching sessions with written or recorded feedback pertaining to the quality of your coaching competencies

NOTE: This course does not fulfill all ICF Level 1 requirements. However, participants receive 40 CCEs for recertification.

  • Define coaching

  • Understand the differences between coaching, counseling, therapy, and mentoring

  • Identify components of coaching

  • Understanding how to facilitate the coaching process

  • Apply active listening skills

  • Apply open-ended questions

  • Understanding why you should ask open-ended questions

  • Apply the Basic Coaching Model

  • Implement mindfulness in your coaching practice

  • Understand the fundamentals of how to start your own business

  • Define your niche market and create your 30-second entrepreneur pitch

  • Understand high-touch and low-touch marketing

  • Understand how to obtain paying coaching clients

  • Understand the fundamentals of starting and operating your own coaching business

  • On-board with RRLC if you desire to do so
